<Product Overview>

  • Product Name

    BAKES-TT (TT Material)

  • Concept

    BAKES-TT wear is approximately 1/100 (based on our material wear tests) of more commonly used heat-resistant felts. It does not cause damage even it comes into contact with delicate and soft metal or glass. The lifespan of the material will significantly be longer, reducing the replacement frequency. Furthermore, used BAKES-TT can be collected, resewed and reused, realising sustainable manufacturing sites.

  • Feature
    • Quality Improvement of Metal Products: BAKES-TT protects metal products at the same level as or more than the heat-resistant felts. It has an excellent effect on soft aluminium and glass products just after extrusion that are susceptible to deformation, bleaching and damage. It can reduce the occurrence of appearance-related defect rate significantly.
    • Longer Lifespan: Fibre drop and attrition at the tip of fibre occur simultaneously due to the rubbing of the heat-resistant felt against metal products, resulting in wear. However, Starlite’s multi-layered BAKES-TT solved this problem.
    • Work Environment Improvement: The glass-cloth for heat-resistance and heat-retention applications has a problem of spreading fibre powder that irritates skin, however, BAKES-TT does not spread the powder, creating cleaner and safer work environment.
