Shiroppa

Shiroppa is a covered playground located at the southeast corner of Fukui City Central Park, which opened in March 2025. It features six types of playground equipment, including multifunctional playground equipment, swings, spring riders, slides, rotating playground equipment, and animal-shaped play equipment. The park is located near Fukui Station, and it is used not only as a playground for children but also for many events. Inclusive playground equipment has been installed to ensure that people of all abilities can enjoy the park.

Features of BARIAS coating

To improve wear resistance, extend the service life, and reduce weight, BARIAS coating is used on equipment and fixtures, as well as amusement park rides. We offer flame-resistant coating and can accommodate color requirements depending on the application.

The park is located within a fire protection district due to its proximity to Fukui Castle ruins. That is why playground equipment must be coated with flame-resistant materials, and BARIAS coating was applied to all playground equipment.

We hope this will serve as a starting point for expanding the use of BARIAS coating in design-oriented fields.
