Notice and Info - 03/07/2026 Starlite signed a disaster support agreement with Yamaguchi City in Yamaguchi Prefecture and supplied them with emergency toilets.
On July 3, 2026, Starlite concluded a disaster support agreement for times of disaster and in normal circumstances with Yamaguchi City in Yamaguchi Prefecture. Through this agreement, we will supply materials necessary for emergency response in the event of a disaster upon request from Yamaguchi City. We also cooperate in raising awareness of disaster preparedness among the citizens during non-emergency times.
In Yamaguchi City, preparations are expanding to various natural disasters, including flooding caused by heavy rain, landslides, and earthquakes. During disasters, ensuring access to toilet facilities becomes a major challenge due to water outages, damage to sewer systems, and changes in living conditions at evacuation centers. Therefore, it is important for local governments and businesses to collaborate on a regular basis to establish systems in preparation for such emergencies.
We recognize that ensuring toilet facilities during disasters is an important social issue, and we are committed to developing our products based on feedback from diverse groups. At the signing ceremony, we donated a Quickhouse, a utility hole-compatible flush toilet, and 1,000 packs of Portable Quick Toilets that become hardened in five seconds.
As part of our commitment to the local community, Starlite will continue to work closely with Yamaguchi City—home to our Yamaguchi Plant—to provide emergency sanitation in times of disaster.
