In March 2026, construction commenced on the Innovation Center (tentative name) at the Ritto Plant, symbolizing a new era of next-generation growth and transformation for the company. The building is scheduled for completion in August 2027. Taking this opportunity, the Ritto Plant will evolve beyond its role as a development and production base to become a hub for open dialogue and synergy where we work together with you to drive technological innovation and address social challenges.

A hub for technological innovation and collaboration

We bring together engineers to integrate expertise from our three businesses—Tribology, Mobility Solutions, and Safety & Life Support—with the goal of establishing a tech-hub. We will advance and accelerate the speed of development by further expanding our evaluation, testing, and analysis facilities, which are our greatest strength. The center plans to install highly advanced, massive 1,000-ton-class injection molding machines to expand our capabilities, alongside equipment for molding and machining large-scale seal parts for the next-generation energy sector. In the area of production engineering, we will manufacture our own automation and efficiency-enhancing equipment while working to develop new production methods. We strive to advance these core technologies further, create opportunities for collaboration with external partners, and grow together with them.

We are working on social challenges that have not yet been adequately addressed in modern society, such as toilet-related issues during disasters and flood protection for cars, with the goal of creating a sustainable global environment and a better future society.
