As a member of the Aichi Next-Generation Battery Promotion Consortium organized by Aichi Prefecture, Starlite introduced the features that enhance battery safety using our thermal insulation protective sheets (BST-23) to battery and storage battery manufacturers.
Its thermal insulation effect, which is a feature of our thermal insulation protective sheet (BST-23), is more than 30 times greater than that of commercially available mica plates and it has a thinner design. We received a high level of interest from trading companies and manufacturers as flame-resistant and explosion-proof solutions.
We will continue to pursue innovative technologies for high-performance materials and work on developing products that realize safety and security in our daily lives.
