Starlite exhibited at the Regional Disaster Prevention Expo held as part of Government & Public Sector Week Japan 2026 at Tokyo Big Sight.

The deterioration of toilet conditions during disasters can become a major issue that leads to health risks and anxiety about daily life. With the goal of providing toilet facilities that everyone can use with peace of mind during disasters, we are moving forward with our initiatives in collaboration with local governments, businesses, and schools.

At this exhibit, we presented a safe and secure toilet environment designed with actual evacuation center scenarios in mind, including a display of an emergency toilet, to people from local government disaster preparedness and crisis management departments.

In recent years, there has been an increasing demand for the disassembly and collection of lithium-ion batteries, as well as for measures to prevent fires during temporary storage.

We presented a display of proposals for safe handling procedures, specifically for collection and storage, to people from local government environmental departments and resource recycling bureaus. We will continue to share challenges faced at each field, with the goal of developing and implementing concrete preparedness measures.
