Starlite exhibited at the ITSUMO MOSHIMO Caravan Kobe, which was hosted by Ryohin Keikaku Co., Ltd.

The ITSUMO MOSHIMO Caravan introduces practical preparedness measures that can easily be integrated into daily life, built on the concepts of community connection and fun learning. Following the 1995 Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, the City of Kobe once again emphasized the importance of disaster preparedness and raising disaster awareness on a daily basis. In addition, earthquakes and heavy rain disasters have been occurring across the country, making it increasingly important to be prepared in our daily lives.

Our Safe and Secure Toilet Project for Emergencies displayed a utility toilet house that is used in evacuation centers and demonstrated how portable toilets are solidified. We also invited attendees to experience the process firsthand. We hope this has made them realize how important it is to learn how to use portable toilets in non-emergency situations, so that people can use them properly in the event of a disaster.

In addition, as part of the Protecting Cars from Flood Damage Project, we provided information on how to prepare to protect cars from flood damage, given the recent increase in heavy rain and flooding. Through displays of a cover to protect cars from flood damage and case examples of flood damage, the event provided an opportunity to reflect on the fact that cars can be damaged by disasters and on the importance of preparing in advance.

We will continue to promote preparedness measures that provide peace of mind through educational initiatives, while also providing products and services.
