Exhibition Info - 14/06/2024At the Highly-functional Material Week [Osaka], Starlite presented its high-performance material technologies that support the next-generation energy society.
For more than 80 years, Starlite has been developing high-performance materials and implementing its products in society to meet the expectations of people and society. At the Highly-functional Materials Week [Osaka] exhibition held at the INTEX OSAKA from May 8 to 10, Starlite introduced its high-performance material technologies that will play an active role in the next-generation energy society.
1.Sealing products with low linear expansion materials
The sealing products are made of a uniquely developed material with thermal dimensional change equivalent to that of metals. As seal clearance over a wide range of temperatures can be kept at a constant level, there is no need to design complicated clearance, and leakage volume (flow path) is also stabilized. They are ideal for abradable seals for industrial equipment used at a wide range of temperatures.
2.Thermal insulation protective sheet for electronic devices
The sheets are made of a uniquely developed material with thermal insulation and non-inflammable properties (equivalent to UL-94, V-0). Because of the thin wall and superior impact resistance, we have diverse business inquiries from fields of electronic devices to building materials, and industrial insulation materials from inside and outside Japan.
We will continue to pursue innovative technologies for high-performance materials and support to realize the next-future society in product development that is friendly to the global environment.
