The cooperation agreement on the "Project research to create future value together" (concluded on March 24, 2025) is to promote regional revitalization in the Miyoshi City area and is an initiative to help develop the area through collaborative community development.
Develop a disaster preparedness strategy and strive to turn it into a business.
As natural disasters become more severe in various parts of the country, being prepared for a disaster is vital for a safe and secure life. In 2024, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of our Hiroshima Plant, Starlite concluded a "Cooperation agreement on support for the development and popularization of women's baseball" and an "Agreement on cooperation and support in the event of a disaster" with Miyoshi City. Through holding an emergency toilet participatory event at Miyoshi City's disaster preparedness fair and sponsoring the Miyoshi Blackpearls, a women's baseball team, we have strengthened our ties with the city and have come to identify with and support the idea of the project.
We hope to further develop mutual support and connections with the local communities in northern Hiroshima Prefecture, and to build relationships that will create value needed for the next generation. Through the project, we will work together to learn and shape value with the goal of realizing a safe and secure city in the Miyoshi City area.
