Exhibition Info - 02/11/2022STARLITE communicated the importance of emergency toilets and demonstrated the ease of “Quick House” assembly at the “6th Bosai Kokutai (National Convention on the Promotion of Disaster Reduction).”
The Cabinet Office in charge of disaster prevention holds Bosai Kokutai every year to raise awareness of disaster prevention, share knowledge and experiences about disasters and promote cooperation among people tackling disaster prevention. In 2022, the Kokutai was held in HAT Kobe Area in Chuo ku of Kobe City on October 22 and 23.
Many people including families and members from resident’s associations, fire brigades, and local governments interested in disaster prevention visited the booth of “Japan Toilet Association’s Group for Temporary Toilets for Disaster,” which Starlite participated in. Children were curious about a half-sized “Quick House” and some of them tried to assemble it and were checking its robustness by opening and closing the door and touching the wall. We were able to convey the importance of emergency toilets in an at-home atmosphere during the event.
We plan to showcase our “Quick House” and “Quick Toilet” at the “SDGs Week EXPO” at Tokyo Big Site from December 7 to December 9, 2022. Both emergency toilets have been continuously improved based on the feedback of disaster victims. We hope you will have an opportunity to experience the ease of use and comfort of these toilets at the exhibision.
