Brandnew Info - 23/06/2023Lightweight technology BARIAS has been adopted for the transporter of the self-drive ropeway “Zippar”.
Zip Infrastructure, Inc. (Headquarters: Hadano City, Kanagawa Prefecture, Representative Director: Takamasa Suchi) has adopted the lightweightness technology BARIAS※1 by STARLITE Co., Ltd. ,which works to develop new technologies on next-generation mobility for the self-drive ropeway "Zippar" prototype.
In this prototype, Zippar carrier is made from an extremely lightweight material, and then sprayed with BARIAS to gain functions such as toughness, weather proof to rain and ultraviolet rays, and wear resistance. Its mobility fulfills the excellent durability and the low environmental impact while utilizing the lightweightness. For the more BARIAS technology authentically embodies Zippar's unique interior or exterior design for the new transportation system. This time, we have produced not only the carrier but also the cover of the self-drive unit, and are currently running trails at the test course within the headquarters of Zip Infrastructure, Inc.
STARLITE will continue to contribute to the development of next-generation mobility that will reduce the environmental impact.
