On June 11, 2023, we have communicated the toilet issues in disaster at “Itsumono-Moshimo CARAVAN Kobe”, which was sponsored by Ryohin Keikaku Co., Ltd. in Plenty square of Seishin-chuo station (Kobe-city).

As Kobe was seriously damaged by the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake in 1995, some of the visitors to our booth were highly aware of disaster prevention who have survived the earthquake, and the others were the students who actually haven’t experienced but learned about the disaster prevention at school.

We could meet a number of people from not only the local disaster prevention community but also those who came with their children. Most of them are highly aware of disaster prevention including school children who were already familiar with manhole toilets and many others who had experienced in assembling our Quick-House®.

Furthermore, through the activity by using the biomass portable toilets that coagulates in five seconds, some has voiced that the coagulation time has to be considered and also there were some encounters who concern the infection control.

We will continuously share more information about the toilet issues in disaster for the coming season of heavy rain.
